Julia Starchild was an illustrated serial novella I created and posted at The Express during the months of March and April 2016. It’s the story of an extended cross-genrational family of filmmakers who made shlocky sex-in-outer space movies. You can CLICK HERE to read the collected opus, all in one big bite. (But be warned: It’s totally awesome.) What follows is a gallery of the faux movie posters I created to illustrate each chapter of the story. The original generation Julia in the first four films was inspired by 1977 Playboy Playmate JULIA LYNDON. The Julia of the 1980s was inspired by my favorite post-modern French pin-up girl BIANCA BEAUCHAMP. And my final inspiration for the last film in the Starchild series was the amazing California-based actress and Twitter sweetheart SARAH NICKLIN, who has appeared in many real films I’ve done posters for. These images are fan art and are FREE TO YOU, to download and share and spread the love.
Hope you enjoy the Starchilds. They rock hard.
Peace in the galaxy!
